Made for the Nawab of the Carnatic.

• Underglaze blue border with embossed floral decoration.
  Soft paste porcelain
  Diameter 26 cms

The flower is described on the reverse of the plate as 'Three Styled Flax'. This is taken from 'Curtis's Botanical Magazine' Plate 1100. 1808
